Our continuous virtual patient monitoring (CVPM) system reduces patient falls and incidents of patient-assisted device removal, such as IVs and catheters. The VirtuALLY CVPM is made up of three components: the mobile monitoring cart, the virtual monitoring command center, and our proprietary software. Below is an overview of the systems key components and how they work together.

Our monitoring cart includes two-way audiovisual conferencing capabilities for communicating with patients and care providers. The mobile pole cart is purpose-driven and customizable. 

The high-resolution camera provides quality video with up to 60 fps performance and optimized network usage. Fixed camera solutions are also available. The cart has an 8-hour battery life and has a low center of gravity and a lockable wheelbase for easy mobility. 

VirtuALLY.io CVPM Software

VirtuALLY.io’s proprietary continuous virtual patient monitoring software is where our industry-leading technology and expertly trained staff come together for proven results. With electronic medical record integration, the software allows patient safety observers(PSOs) to document patient information and record patient activity.

Our CVPM software lays out the proper protocols for intervention and escalation. The software also tracks important data points to help optimize your use of the system. Reporting on utilization trends, negative event avoidance, and the number of interventions and escalations are readily available with the software.

VirtuALLY.io Virtual Monitoring Command Center

Our CVPM system is anchored by our Virtual Monitoring Command Center. The command center is staffed with specially trained PSOs who are available 24/7—every day of the year, including holidays.

We take care of recruiting, hiring, and training a team of Patient Safety Observers who monitor and document all activity. When PSOs observations determine patient escalation or physical intervention is needed, they connect with local operators.
